Default Mission Rewards for Foreigners pre-LA

I've noticed that when I take any of my Elonan or Canthan characters back through Tyria that there is no reward for completing the missions.

I believe this is unfair and that these characters should gain the normal 2,000 experience for completing these missions.

The main reson for this is congruity. Simply put when you bring a Tyrian to Cantha or Elona and take them back to Shing Jea or Istan, when they complete those missions, they get the rewards of Money, Experience and Skill points, the same holds true for Canthans or Elonans going to either Elona or Cantha respectively. It does state that you are living past events, as it does in Tyria when the Elonans or Canthans do the first set of missions before LA, but in Tyria there is no reward.

This does not make sense, there seems to be no legitimate reason for them not getting the reward, and even if there was would the same argument not hold true for anyone doing the missions set before the time of arrival to a chapter. Therefore the Shing Jea and Istan Islands should not give the rewards to any other than natives to the land.

Also if it was to be maintained that foreigners should not get rewards for these Tyrian missions, should it not also hold true for when Hard mode is attempted?

Obviously I dont wish to remove rewards from any missions done by characters, therefore I'm asking if it would be possible to allow Elonan and Canthan based characters to gain the mission rewards for Tyria from The North Gate mission through to Gates of Kryta

Oh yes, because its so unfair that a level 20 doesn't get 2000 exp for cruising through a mission designed for level 10s. /sarcasm

It makes perfect sense, and as Dargon pointed out, the same thing applies to NF players in Cantha, etc. The logic is, you shouldn't get rewards for something that occured "in the past."

Sorry I didn't know this had changed, when I originally got Factions on release I did the missions with my primary character and got the rewards, I just did Minister Cho's Estate with my Tyrian Elementalist and didn't get the reward, thanks for the info.

You're "in the past" argument is flawed, when I read Dargon's statement I thought I should check out my beliefs more thouroughly, and after doing the Shing Jea mission took my elementalist to Jokunar Diggings and did the mission there, upon completion I recieved the masters reward and got 4,500xp 450 gold and 3 skill points, this mission like the Tyrian and Canthan ones was set "in the past" yet i still got the reward.

This mission is designed for about level 10, and my Elementalist at level 20 breezed right through. more aptly the Chahbek Village mission gives 2,000xp, 200 gold and 3 skill points, and a level 20 can do it in a minute or two, and recive it, coming from Tyria. This counters your sarcastic comment too.

I haven't checked on wether Canthan can do these recently, but my Ritualist did them all about a month ago and recieved the rewards, and I don't know if Elonans get the canthan rewards, as none of mine have done them yet.

The point i made in my original post still holds true, If my Tyrian and Canthan characters can do these easy "in the past" missions and recieve rewards in Elona why not elsewhere?

The "in the past" argument is also flawed with regard to Hard Mode, these missions are still in the past yet everyone gets rewards for doing them, if what you say was to be implemented then nobody would get rewards in hard mode for doing them as they are "in the past" and you did say

Do you really believe that and want this?

I may have not been 100% correct in the origianl post, and I'm sorry for not checking thoroughly, but the essence of my argument is still true.

You get the rewards in hard mode.

You don't get 50000XP in Augury Rock for foreingers, this is the same...
